So this was the DVD version (or it appeared to be so). There were at least three scenes in the showing that I haven't seen yet: Draco's first entrance in Knockturn Alley and Lucius Malfoy bringing in items to sell, Lockhart distributing tests and then looking them over, and Diagon Alley at the end of the movie and a new book called Who Am I? by Lockhart. (He's grumbling in the moving picture on the cover.) Not bad for a three hour showing, I must say.

Oh, as soon as you said Draco I was hooked. I love Tom Felton! I must get the DVDs of the movies for the deleted scenes!

I only watch them on DVD now, unless they are on ABC Family... they add the deleted scenes into their airing of the movie where they would have gone! Did Disney do this? I can't remember if the scenes mentioned above were in the movie originally or not. I haven't seen the 2nd one in a while.

I know I've never seen Lockhart with his test and the book at the end of the movie yet, so I think this is something they've (Disney) decided to do. I don't recall the network showing the movie. This may have been just for last night.
If I remember correctly, ABC Family cut some scenes out the last time they showed this.

Oh, really? They must just put the scenes in sometimes. I'm sure they've done if for the first movie, because I'll never forget watching the extended Snape's Potion Class scene... it makes me happy.
